For those who watch Big Bang Theory, or Two and A Half Men, you may notice that after the credits roll, theres a 3 second frame where theres a whole block of text, which is written by the shows producer, Chuck Lorre. I noticed these ages ago, but never took the time and effort to actually freeze frame them and read it =p other tahn the occasional one liners which I can read pretty fast.

Anyhow, due to procrascination of the 4 courseworks that need to be done in the span of 3 weeks, I went to search for these Chuck Lorre thingamajigs, which rupanya, are called Vanity Cards, and can be found at chucklorre.com.

This one saya suka:-

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #248

I believe that Newton's first law of motion is the reason we will emerge from our current economic woes.

That law states that an object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

How does that relate to the financial #$%*storm we're now cowering under? Allow me to explain. There are slightly less than seven billion people on this planet. Assuming that roughly half that number are either too young, too old, too lazy, or too loaded to work, that still leaves almost three and a half billion people getting up in the morning to chase the almighty dollar, the transcendent rupee, the zen yen,the dear ol' euro, the what's goin' on yuan, the... well, you get the idea.

Now, call me crazy (and many have called me far worse), but I happen to think that three and a half billion motivated people is one big damn object in motion. And the only thing acting against that object is the friction caused by a small bunch of greedy, dumbass, screw-the-pooch, Ivy League pot stickers (the unbalanced force).

I therefore assert that the unbalanced force (you know who you are, shame on you), will eventually be overwhelmed by the object in motion (three and a half billion people with pluck, aka pluckers), thus allowing the object in motion to continue its relentless journey forward, thriving and conniving until it is once again slowed down by other unbalanced forces, or a very large meteorite.

Or a plague. Or fundamentalists with nukes. Or atmosphere-eating nanobots. Or a super volcano. Or Skynet. Or Cylons.

Well FUN TWO WEEKS!! First fortnight of February is always FUN for Fae!! Wow, thats a lot of Fs in a sentence isnt it... Haha. Had a birthday cake suprise, a homeade cake by Lina, who baked at her friends place then brought it over! IT WAS THE BOMB!! Chocolate cake, with a strawberry filling, and frosting, and crushed maltesers on top. NYAMAN DUDE, I ATE IT AND BLISSFULLY DIED!! My meals for the next three days just consisted of Cake haha.

Then Nira and I hosted a joint-birthday dinner in Cardiff Bay, where everyone was asked to wear stripes or stars,a nd funny thing was the only stars taht made an appearance were CJs earrings! Sh!e won the most enthusiastic person award =p

And bowling!!! I was crap, but it was worth it to pay 4pounds just to watch little 3yearold Maisarah use that contraption taht kiddies used to bowl because SHE IS SO CUTE.

And the present haul wasnt so bad either this year! Perfume from the Grumpy, silver bracelet and cake from Lina, clothes, makeup from ceej and Nira, an awesome bear from Rey, that can be heat up!!! And various other stuff =D I was a happy bunny =D

But oddly enough, over the past few weeks Ive been sick, then better, then sick, then better, so its REALLY ANNOYING me. Like, i think id rather my body to be sick BERABIS then get better. Not sikit sikit sakit. Tapi syukurlah. At the moment am nursing a cough and a sore throat.

Valentines day was another celebrated affair. Didnt do much but had Tenkaichi lunch with Nira, because we ahd to get FAR AWAY from town because tehre was a TIDALWAVE of people due to the Wales vs England rugby match. Baik jua Wales manang! kalau inda, abis nie city ani kana vandalise by drunk angry idiot-rugby-fans.

And I bought Farid a Millies cookie for Valentines. Sampai now, belum habis LOL.

And we watched a PLAY!! I loved it berabis because id rather see live actors than the movies any day. Antah, theres something magical about seeing someone acting on stage, and apatah lagi professional actors!!

And it being a Whodunnit kinda play was an added plus because who can resist those types of storylines! for 8pounds, best place to go for a date =p

Now that the hype of birthdays and valentines has died down, I have to switch into fifth gear for the planning and preparation for our BDSSW National Day celebration thats happeing on the 28th Feb.

What sucks is though, I dropped Ruby the Nokia (for the trillionth millionth time) whilst looking for my brithday dress in River Island, and now the microphone doesnt work!! Everyone who I have rejected their call are now pissed and is demanding I buy a new phone! After checking out any cheap-ish alternatives, I have settled on one, and put an order in on O2s website.... hopefully datang besok!!

What else has been happening?

'He' is speaking to me now!! Praise the skies. I was thiiiiiiiis close to buying a train ticket to Kent and banging on his door. But yeay, no more silent treatment =D

So I'm back from Keele! It was a a lotta fun and can be summed as the trip where I :-

- Kissed a lesbian on the lips,

- lost my faith in men only to gain it again, and then lose it again

- dyed my hair to achieve a caramel colour, and ended up with a shade lighter than black

- walked around in zero degrees in just a tanktop, miniskirt and ankle boots

- stole two mugs from Starbucks

-crashed a dinner party and had the BEST bruneian rojak I have ever had in my life

- met Ros' longtime girlfriend Beb for the first time

- used babyFayes University ID the whole time and wasnt caught once.

- went to a rock club called Sugarmill and danced the night away to indie music =)

Good times. Thanks Faye + Ayu + Rene + Ian + the other Keele-ites xxxx

The starbucks mugs that I stole

Babyfaye @ Starbucks in Hanley

Lots and lots of shopping!!!Faye, Danny and I at the Sugarmill

Faye and I at the bathroom of The Pig & Rat

And babyFaye bought me a pair of boots for my birthday!! Dorothy Perkins was having such a sale on shoes I went back to Cardiff with three shoeboxes =p

Arent they cute???

And I bought shoes for myself as well. They were only 15pounds!! So preeetttyyyyyyy!

But I am back in Cardiff and school has started! I am taking four modules this term rather than the usual three modules because I think I didnt do so hot in one of my Autumn modules. So Im picking up some slack.

The modules im taking this month are "Communication Disorders", "Social Interaction", "Workplace Communication", and "Communication, Tourism and Globalisation".

February is also crunch time for me being the BDSSW President cause its the month when we are having the National Day Celebration. So scripts to write, proposals to draw up, finances to sort out, and sponsorships to suck out of people. And oh, orchestrating people to do them as well. Nyeh, we will see what disaster I'll cook up.

I came home from Uni on Monday to find Baz running around in a flurry, trying to book a flight to Brunei for the next day. She was called and needed to be with her family now. My prayers are with Baz and her family.

Tommorrow I am going to London to watch Boys Like Girls, opened by Metro Station. I love both gigs so itsall good. Going to watch it with Faye and Ned =)

I will probably write up the script on the train. And Farid and I will meet up in London and come home together Friday. I miss that silly boy =)

Well that's two exams down and another to go! Children, Lang and Communication exam last monday was a right bitch, but that was my own fault for not studying really well. I was still in my holiday mood, and seasonal depression was getting to me. But excuses now wont help things that have happened. No use crying over spilt coke. Or something along that line. LOL.

But after a looong chat with Mash, Chris Breezy, and a dose of Birmingham and Kash, I was reminded of things that was important and it kinda gave me a wakeup call. So thanks guys, you're the best <3 words cant actually describe what you did, butchu did summit =D

so I studied smart over the weekend, and just had my Persuasive Communication exam this afternoon. It went better than I had expected, so I am pretty happy with my effort. Mudahan dapat 2:1 for that module, Amin.

I took a nap straight after the exam, and did some filing and got started with my revision for my Men, Women and Language exam this Wednesday. I only have tonight and tommorow to properly study, so I better get cracking. And once you're in the zone, there's no stopping ya!

This module doesn't really entice me in any way, so its gonna be slow running revising for it. But one thing I'm looking forward to is hopping on  a train to Keele to visit babyfaye frm Thursday all the way to Sunday =D and rumour has it a certain Mancunian on the name of Neddy is going to be there as well so its gonna be fun times =D

And since Farid will be hopping on a train to Newcastle and we will be apart for nearly 2 weeks, it'll be a good thing. Not that I dont love the silly boy, but time apart for a little while may be what I need. And babyfaye. and Ned. Lol.

Someone just clicked on me and asked me what I wanted for my birthday. Holy crap, I'm turning 22 soon (-,-). Should I make a wishlist? =D

Slumdog Millionaire - watched it last week, and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Not cause I went to India and I was missing it, cause it was really really, a great movie. About a guy who lived in poverty with his brother after their parents were killed, and how he tries to win the love of his life by going on the Indian version of "Who wants to be a Millionaire". Awesome awesome stuff =p not your typical Bollywood flick (I wouldnt touch a bollywood flick with a ten-ffot pole), as its directed by Uk director Danny Boyle AND Indian Loveleen Tandan.

And the lead actor is that indian guy in Skins who always seems to be naked.

Heee, Farid and I have just come back from our trip to Birmingham to see Chris Brown!!
Farid had an exam the day of the concert, so We hopped on a train straight after Farid's exam, got to Birmingham at 6pm, was picked up by Kash and his housemate Naili, who relieved us of our backpacks (thanks again for that guys!!), and we met up with Huda, who took us to the Birmingham NIA  for the concert!

On the walk towards the concert hall, Huda pointed out the Birmingham landmarks and such, and homaigat Birmingham is HUGE!! When compared to Birm, the city of Cardiff is like KB Town being compared to KL LOL!

And the Birm NIA is MASSIVE! We had floor seats, but it was a bit far away from the stage itself. I dont envy the people in the Lower and Upper Tier seats one bit, Chris Brown was probably a speck to them lol.

Huda and I checked out the Merchandise stand and mahal yoooooooooooo!! The only thing I could afford was a 3pound photocard LOL.

The concert opened with DJ Baby Drew, who played hit songs to get the crowd warmed up, and then the Opening Act of the night was a singer "Zarif", of the underground London scene apparently, and sounded like Amy Winehouse.. It was a pretty bizarre pick for Chris Brown's opening act, so I dunno what the management was thinking. If she had performed at an NME Freshers Tour with the likes of the Ting Tings, they wouldnt be so out of place, but an RnB/HipHop concert?

But Chris Breezy came on and everyone forgot about the opening act~~~~~

He came on stage suspended on ropes!!!! Awesome berabis!!!

Huda and I tried to stand up on our seats to see better,(tinggi tinggi wah orang putih ani!!!) but was told to come back down by the Stewards =( So we moved to the aisle to see better, and it was a better view =D Farid stayed at our seats cause he's just too cool to move =p

Then the most AWESOME thing happened. Since Huda and I were on the aisle, we noticed that some techinical guys were setting something up in a closed off area behind us. It looked like a ministage of some sort!

And who was to walk by, surrounded by bodyguards? RIHANNA!!!!! Just sauntering right past us LOL.

But wait, thats not the awesome thing. Chris Brown finished up his song, and videos of him started to come on. And right next to us, the stewards was paving a pathway. And it clicked that Chris Brown was going to come to the mini stage and perform there. RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!!!!!!!!

AND BANAR YOOO. Huda and I ran to the barrier thing and we were TOTALLY DI DAPAN! Chris Brown came and performed "Take You Down" on the mini-platform that came off the ground using some kind of hydraulics. And it was cool cause the platform kept moving upwards one side, then upwards another, and CHRIS BROWN TOOK HIS SHIRT OFF!!!!!!

~drool~

Si Rihanna duduk arah sound booth saja, melihat. Ia nada perform =(

The Chris Brown Gig was therefore. AWESOMEEEEE!!!

Hehe. We came back to Kashs place, where Farid and I were bunking for the night, and played a lil RockBand, and BUZZ! Its a GREAT quiz game on PS3 that will definitely end up on my Birthday Wishlist! Kami main sampai 3am LOL.

I thought our train was at 1pm, so inda sempat ke Woktastic for the allyoucaneat sushi buffet, because it opened at 12pm. Tapi rupanya our train was at 1.30pm, so it could have been sempat if I had just CHECKED OUR TRAIN TIME. Farid keeps rubbing it in my face that I had deprived him of AllYouCanEat Sushi, and I feel really bad =(

So Birmingham. The trip was too short, but it was in between Farid's exams, so we had no choice but to just stay one night.

Thanks berabis to Kash for his hospitality and giving up his comfy bed for me =D And thanks Huda for everything, we had the time of our lives xxxx

"HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER CAST IN 'BEST OF 2008'"

THE OLYMPICS

The men lost a lot of hair to play the U.S. 4x200m relay team; Harris (far right) even cajoled Segel (far left) into shaving his
armpits. ''The guys sounded like they didn't think it was going to grow back,'' laughs Smulders. ''Dude. Trust me. It grows back.
I wish it didn't. It does. You're gonna be fine.''

INDIANA JONES

Smulders (left) didn't see Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (she says the key to Cate Blanchett was ''just look like a badass''), while Harris studied Indy hard: ''It's sort of a quarter-squint. The lips go down,
but there's a hint of a smile. But he's not amused, because he's always got other things in mind.''

SEX AND THE CITY

Hannigan (far left) ditched her heels before the shot: ''I couldn't do it,'' she sighs.
''They were too high. I had to catch Cobie and not fall on my face.'' Radnor (right),
on the other hand, had no trouble stepping into Mr. Big's shoes: ''I get hit with a
bouquet of flowers at least once a month"

JONAS BROTHERS

''I don't often wear skinny jeans. It's not my thing.
But I heroically squeezed into some,'' says Radnor. Harris worked to internalize his character deeply, as well: ''I got to be the straight-ironed guy. Not the curly. I don't know their names...Alvin? Theodore?''

THE VP DEBATE

''It probably will just be an imitation of Tina Fey,'' admits Hannigan, before slipping on her Sarah Palin suit. For Segel, this role is a culmination of a lifelong dream: ''Ever since I was a kid, I always imagined someday
I'd get to play Joe Biden in a photo shoot.''

Hehe kiut berabis dorang ah. Cant wait for the next episode to come out on Monday =D

Im supposed to be studying for my exam LOL

Goddamn. Its the 8th of January. A whole week of 2009 has passed and I have done nothing but procrastinate. And layan Umie, who was visiting for a week. But goddamn. one week.

If I were to be brutally honest with myself, i would say "banyak wah patut kan di buat". Which was the truth. There is a lot that needs to be done. But the more I shake myself out of the holiday mood and realize the tasks that are waiting to be acknowledged and done, the more i pull myself away and hide in my own little world.

Just today, I stayed in bed all day and watched re-runs of The Big Bang Theory. True, I was also recuperating from strained muscles due to stupidly making myself do 50 ab crunches in a gym workout yesterday, but time should also have been spent on more productive things. I need a wake up call.

But as a professional procrastinator, I will simply say, "I'll start tomorrow~!"

// The Cab- "That 70s Song"

Farid and I came back from visiting his family in India on the 28th of December and we didn't arrive in Cardiff till the 29th. And with expectant smiles on their faces, everyone asks the question, "How was India?!".

There are many answers that whizz through my head every time I hear this question, and exclusively on this post, you get to hear all variations of the answers and the reasons behind it!

If it were an essay question, it would be posed as this - " Summarize your trip to the sub-continent of India in one adjective, and explain briefly the reasons for your choice".

Answers:-

a) Fun - just as any holiday should be! Farid's parents had just moved into a new house, and the Internet wasn't set up yet, so I couldn't receive any emails or facebook messages, and it was kind of a relief to be cut off from the world, even for a short period of time. Holidays are meant to be get-aways aren't they?

And Farid's brother Firdaus, is a funny guy. He was like a big kid, and we got along berabisly well. And Farid's parents went out of their way to bring us around. Siuklah!

b) Messed up - because India is a messed up country. Personal opinion saja by the way. The rich are swimming in their pools of money while hundreds and hundreds of beggars starved on the street. Every single time we went out, beggars would knock on the car windows when the car stopped for a redlight, and they would beg for money. Women with babies, old people, little kids, people with missing limbs. It broke your heart to see.

And Indian people are a tad bit too rude for my liking. They push you out of their way, they elbow you in a crowded street, they cut lines right in front of you, and apparently, there are no indian words for "please" or "thank you". General politeness are just not in their culture. Everyone is "every man for himself". I nearly had a heartattack when i watched this indian women bump into another woman and heard her say "sorry", because the whole 12 days I was there, I never heard an Indian say sorry!

And don't get me started on how messed up the traffic was! Two lane roads became five lane roads with cars weaving in and out, and braking every few seconds cause some idiot motorcyclist would swerve every which way just to get a few metres forward. And endless honking!! I thought the honking was bad in Egypt, who honked so that any person or animal would know of their presence and get out of their way, but Indians honk for anything! Kana potong, honk, to move faster, honk, to move to the right or left, honk, to say don't hit me, honk! My knuckles went white every time we were on the road cause I was petrified that I was going to die in a car accident. No joke.

c) Surreal - Because I was spoiled when I was there. From the very first day, when we went through customs without a hitch because of Farid's diplomatic passport, to seeing Daus inside the immigration area because he had a diplomatic pass, and had access, to being driven around with the family in the mercedes with the diplomatic license plate, or being picked up by a driver sent by the High Commission of Brunei, I had a real taste of what it would be like to be a diplobrat.

And Farid's mum cooked homemade meals for us, so banyak makan bruneian food that we so so missed. Simple things, like gulai, or daging masak kicap, or CRAB!

However that was only for the twelve days that I was there. And being a diplobrat was something I could live with, but I now understand why some diplobrats I know act like pampered royalty. Because in some countries, that is how they are treated. Thank god I wasn't in India long, or I might end up being like some spoiled princess from "My Super Sweet Sixteen".

d) Interesting - The food was different, the way they dressed was different, men held hands in public, I saw an ELEPHANT ON THE HIGHWAY, body and sign language when they talked to each other was different, they had weird words, like lakh, which means ten-thousand and cruore, which means ten million for e.g "Get a chance to win three lakh different prizes". or something like that.

I was a tad bit overwhelmed at times, mainly due to the sheer size of a crowd at any given time, but for example, when we all went to a market, I was overwhelmed by the choices and choices of saris and fabrics put in front of me that my mind froze up and I couldn't make a single choice! Baikjua ada Farid's mom, and the next time I was at the market and were picking out saris and stuff, I was a bit more prepared lol. The guys at Nazmi and Firoz Jaya are gentle to us bruneians man, cause in India, they don't care if the fabric they threw at you hit you in the face, as long as you bought something from them!

And the whole time I was there, I was constantly snacking on popcorn. The popcorn sana ada funny flavors like "Butter Pepper" or "Chili Surprise" (which I was too chicken to try), so it was a change from the normal sweet or salty popcorn =p

e) Scary - due to the recent Mumbai/Bombay attacks, security was extra extra extra tight. At every shopping mall, every car needs to go through a checkpoint before you go to the underground parking, where guards with rifles check the underside of your cars with mirrors and check the boot, and before anyone can step foot in the building, your bag and persons need to be checked. I think I was frisked more times in my 12 days in India than in my whole life combined!

At the Taj Mahal, lagitia, my Ipod wasn't allowed in, so was my pack of playing cards (???) and my box of Panadol. Ciggarette packs or lighters weren't even allowed to be brought inside the cinemas in a shopping Mall in Delhi.

f) Nightmare - for a girl who couldn't eat anything remotely spicy, Indian food was a nightmare. Luckily I didn't get sick from all the spicy food I was eating, although I did get a slight bout of diarhoeaa, probably due to eating icecream bought from a streetside icecream vendor.

And there you have it! My Indian Experience in a Nutshell =p And to answer some FAQs, here's what I found out -

Indian Stereotype #1 - "Indian murtabak will beat any other country's murtabak." Nope. Bruneian murtabak kicked Indian murtabaks ass. Rang Mahals murtabak is still the best, esp with kari kambing. Hands. Down.

Indian Stereotype #2 - "Grown Indian Men hold hands while walking down the street". Banar yo. They do hold hands, or as Russell Peters pointed out, held pinkies even. Grown men. Cali berabis hee

Indian Stereotype #3 - "In India, poppadums are packaged and canned just like Pringles". Sadly, inda. This thought was brought forward to me by a dear friend in Brunei Hall, and after asking Uncle Maeraj and an Indian friend of mine, this myth does not exist =( They do have Lays potato chips in diff flavours like "Spicy Masala" and things, but canned poppadums, no =(

Any other stereotypes y'all can think of, I'll try to remember if it was true.. Farid and I came back to the UK 5kg heavier with all the food we had been eating, our baggage 10kg heavier from all the saris and other stuff we bought (including 320gb portable harddrives we got for dirt cheap on Boxing Day!!), and our bank accounts seemingly empty.

But all in all, it was a very good trip =p

Yesterday was the BDSSW Hari Raya Aildiladha Takbir thing, and I had initially planned not to go due to essays and being sick, but I felt kinda bad if I didnt show up, so I promised myself that if I did 500 words, i'll deserve a break and i would go to the function.

Farid had his own assignments to do, some programming thing called C++ and the gay thing was that he had to do it on the school PCs, so he had to go to his library to do it. Granted, his school is only 8 minutes walk away, but it was frost outside (cold but not cold enough to snow cause thats just cardiff for you), so it was understandable that he was procrascinating on going to the library. But he did go, and promised to come back in time for the whole house to grab a cab to go to UWICs LLandaff campus where the function was going to be.

I did 500 words by 7pm, and took a quick shower and got dressed. (the function started at 8pm) I was still feeling a little unwell, but it wasnt like we were walking in the cold. Farid came back a little after 8, and what with waiting for the cab and actually getting there, we came around 8.45 lol.

And the doa part of the takbir was done. =/

Kami basically kesana to makan hahaha. Sorry about that peeps! blame farid! The committee did a good job organizing the function with utmost MINIMAL help from me (i think they were scared I would snap at them to leave me alone lol) so kudos to them!

Food was yummy as well =p

Uncle Zainal and the Assistant Religious Officer, Aminuddin

Food Line!!

The Committee and their helpers <33

Yes he wore the shirt lol

When we came home, Farid was dropped off at his library, and everyone went to sleep, but I half-attempted at continuing my essay.

And to keep me company, Police Academy was playing on Virgin, and I DIDNT KNOW KIM CATTRALL WAS IN the FIRST POLICE ACADEMY MOVIE!! lol. And that was in 1984. Goddamn.

I gave up at 650 words, cause I was starting to feel ill again, so went to bed.

[MALE READERS, IT IS SUGGESTED YOU SKIP THIS PART]

And this morning woke up with the most SEVERE cramps ever!! Like berabis doubling in pain sakitnya! I took a couple of panadol and went back to bed, but sakit masih!!! And labatnya berabis that I am actually feeling like I just donated several pints of blood to the Blood Bank =S

I was in pain so much that Farid, bless him, went out to get me some Feminax, but I couldnt take it right away because I had just taken panadol. So I was literally on my knees, at the end of my bed, with my head rsting forwards on the bed, for a whole hour, till I could take the Feminax.

And on the back of the Feminax box it says that there is a chance I might get addicted to the Codiene in it if taken for more than three days. lol.

[END]

Because I am feeling so unwell, I am trying to find a cover for work tonight, and theres some issues with one Head Supervisor saying this, and another Head Supervisor saying that. So i am waiting by the phone now to see if Im being let off work tonight, because i cannot possible hobble to work doubled in pain. LOL.

Stupid girl problems.

Btw, Pinky Red said she had an accident with the oven and have burn marks =s Hope you feel better hun!

I love Tesco more cause they have started to sell Oreos. Last year, we couldnt find Oreos in the UK to save your life.

I am very very sick at the moment, fever, sore throat, blocked nose, the works. SO doing essays is the last thing i wanna do. But Oreos bought by Jem from Tesco cheered me up =)

And while eating it, I found myself remembering that almost everyone i knew has their specioal way of eating an oreo, wether stuffing it all in ur mouth, dunking it with milk, eating it with Peanut butter, or just taking small bites. I eat the top half, scrape the white pieces with my teeth, then eat the remaining half.

To procrascinate more, i found this online!

OREO PSYCHO-PERSONALITY TEST

Psychologists have discovered that the manner in which people eat Oreo cookies provides great insight into their personalities.  Choose which method best describes your favorite method of eating Oreo's:

1. The whole thing all at once.
2. One bite at a time
3. Slow and methodical nibbles examining the results of each bite afterwards.
4. In little feverish nibbles.
5. Dunked in some liquid (milk, coffee...).
6. Twisted apart, eat the inside, then the cookie.
7. Twisted apart, eat the inside, and toss the cookie.
8. Just the cookie, not the inside.
9. I just like to lick them, not eat them.
10. I don't have a favorite way because I don't like Oreo.

Your Personality:
1. The whole thing
This means you consume life with abandon, you are fun to be with, exciting, carefree with some hint of recklessness. You are totally irresponsible.  No one should trust you with their children.

2. One bite at a time
You are lucky to be one of the 5.4 billion other people who eat their Oreo's this very same way.  Just like them, you lack imagination, but that's OK, not to worry, you're normal.

3. Slow and Methodical
You follow the rules. You're very tidy and orderly.  You're very meticulous in every detail with every thing you do to the point of being anal retentive and irritating to others.  Stay out of the fast lane if you're only going to go the speed limit.

4. Feverish Nibbles
Your boss likes you because you get your work done quickly. You always have a million things to do and never enough time to do them. Mental break downs and suicides run in your family. Valium and Ritalin would do you good.

5. Dunked
Every one likes you because you are always up beat.  You like to sugarcoat unpleasant  experiences and rationalize bad situations into good ones. You are in total denial about the shambles you call a life.   You have a propensity towards narcotic addiction.

6. Twisted apart, the inside, and then the cookie
You have a highly curious nature. You take pleasure in breaking things apart to find out how they work, though not always able to put them back together, so you destroy all the evidence of your activities.  You deny your involvement when things go wrong. You are a compulsive liar and exhibit deviant, if not criminal, behavior.

7. Twisted apart, the inside, and then toss the cookie
You are good at business and take risk that pay off. You take what you want and throw the rest away.  You are greedy, selfish, mean, and lack feelings for others. You should be ashamed of yourself. But that's OK, you don't care, you got yours.

8. Just the cookie, not the inside
You enjoy pain.

9. I just like to lick them, not eat them
Stay away from small furry animals and seek professional medical help immediately.

10. I don't have a favorite way, I don't like Oreo cookies
You probably come from a rich family, and like to wear nice things, and go to upscale restaurants.  You are particular and fussy about the things you buy, own, and wear. Things have to be just right. You like to be pampered. You are a prima donna. There's just no pleasing you.

HAHAHAHAHAHA cali berabis. especially number 9. whoever wrote this is psycho, not a psychologist haha. Im Number 6, so i always exhibit criminal behaviour. LOL.

for everyone

I can never writeup a blog entry that makes sense. Not make sense as in understandable, but make sense as in a good story structure. Probably cause my daily life never has any structure. The only routine thing in my life at the present moments are lectures. And even those i go to are the ones that happen when i dont feel tired. and that is based on what I did the night before. which is never the same. work, or rock band sessions, or blaaa. haha.

so whats the answer when you cant organize your thoughts? Bullet points!!

In no particular order, just things I thought Id mention

1) Santy left for Brunei for good today. We had a farewell party for her last night, invited some people over, and had nasi lemak. And played Wii. And played rock band. haha at one point, there were 15 people in Farids room, watching/playing Rock Band, And Farid's room is TINY. lol. There were a few tears, (started by Santy!!!) but it was mainly a happy happy night.

We also suprised Nira with a Graduation Scrapbook =) she was very very happy about that.. haha artistic skills were challenged that night, but the scrapbook ended up looking good =p

2) I bought Farid an early Christmas / 2-year Anniversary present!

Its a t-shirt that says " I AM THE STIG" which is the mysterious driver from "Top Gear". I should look for a tshirt that says "i am dating THE STIG" lolol. I wouldnt know anything about Top Gear if it wasnt for Farid hogging the remote and watching Top Gear all the time =p

3) Today was my last day of lectures!! Next week is my Reading Week, then its Christmas Break =) =) and right after that is Guided Study Week, then the two week exam period.. Spring semester starts 26th January. So tadaaaaaa no more lectures till end of january. Whaddap =)

4) I have 2 essays due 12th December. By 12pm. Doing Billingualism for my "Children, Language and Communication" module, and probably going to do Gender Sexualities for my "Men, Women and Language" module. gagagaga.

5) IT finally came!!! my body is functioning normally now =)

6) Jem inda jadi ke India. so thats just me and Farid going. Dulu, it was me, Farid, Jem, Baz and Umie who wer planning to go India. and now, 3 down, only two going, Sigh. So how many saris am I getting?

7) I NEED a haircut. My hair is berabis panjang, sampai past halfway down my back. Ive been thinking about a haircut for a few weeks now, and I was just waiting for my allowance to come in. And now that it has, my hair suddenly decides to behave, looking very lawa most of the time.. its tricking me so that I wont cut it. But I want to. i do i do. hair thats too long is going to suffocate me one day.

8) Who the eff would name their child Mowgli. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz thats who. Palui punya parents. Baik tinggal dalam hutan.

Haha. I should be doing my essay.

" It is well established that we find attractive people to be socially rewarding, and when given a choice, we select attractive acquaintances over unattractive ones" (Berscheid and Walster 1974). Taken from "Persuasive Communication", Stiff and Mongeau 1999.

Oh.My.God. Beautiful people are going to govern the world soon. If they secretly dont already.

"more words than I have ever heard, and I feel so alive" - Jason Mraz

You and I Both - Jason Mraz

I believe that my subconcious is smarter than I give it credit to be.. My dreams are always a manifestation of how Im feeling, or things that I have strong emotions towards.. And throughout my adolescent years, and the years coming out of teenage-hood, Ive been having the same recurring scene played again and again in my dreams.

It always involve a child, usually a baby, sometimes my youngest sister when she was still a baby, but the baby is never mine, and I am entrusted to take care of it for a period of time, and bad things start happening. Like ninjas appear and I have to save myself and the baby from being kidnapped. Or the baby crawls off and dissapears and I have to look high and low for him/her. But one detail is always the same, the baby isnt mine. Its a responsibility that is serious.

My colleagues in DST always told me that the recurring-not-my-baby dream means that I will stumble into some rezeki. And oddly enough it has been the case most of the time. I had the baby dream a few nights ago, and I have just found out that BSUnit has paid me back my transport claim of 42pounds and its in my account, waiting to be cleared. So alhamdulillah, rezeki datang =)

However, my own interpretation of my dream (cause who is the best interpreter of your own dream but yourself), is that the baby represents responsibility and trust, and a promise I have to fulfill. And the responsibility might get a little crazy sometimes, but the happy ending of my dreams, when Im safe in my room playing with the baby, and the person who has entrusted me comes home and is delighted to see that both of us havent been sliced to pieces by ninjas, it shows that maybe, just maybe, its my subconcious telling me that I can do it. =)

Moving on from the self pep-talk, I had a dream about Rey the other day. She sat me down and said "i got you something!", and plopped a keyboard in front of me. And said "now play." But I dont know how to play the keyboard, i said. "Yes you do!" she said and placed my hands on the keyboard.

And I began to play. I began to play the opening chords of "California" by Copeland. And sang a duet with Rey. Rey, I dont know if in reality you know this song, but we rocked the song in my dream =P.

I think i miss my friends, who are across the globe. And I am planning to go to London soon, and it will feel weird not texting Faez straight away asking where he was, or squatting in Reys room. Rey was the person who made me less homesick my first Raya in UK. And I will be eternally grateful to her for that.

Happy Belated 23rd Birthday dear lovable Rey =P

California - Copeland

My Persuasion Communication assignment is due Tuesday and I am supposed to write 1600words in 3 days. Its not impossible as I have writted two essays in one all-nighter. But this time I dont want to just cobble something together, I want to write a proper essay. No semi- plagirising from Mel's notes, no last minute looking up references, just a proper write-up of something Im interested in. Good Luck to me.

I have bought my India ticket. Leaving on the 15th of December with Finnair, and having a stopover at Helsinki Airport in Finland for a few hours. Haha. Finnair. Random much. Nearly 1000pounds left my account to pay for two return tickets, and my god, there goes my savings. But India =) I hope they have good murtabak there =D

Why do I go to these random places, while other UK students go to Europe and NYC and stuff. Haha, Egypt in the summer and India in my winter break. Oh well, I still have Easter break.. And I made a decision that I will go back to Egypt another time in my lifetime. Dunno why, but I want to visit it again another time =)

Enough rambling. I am addicted to Jason Mraz's "You and I both" at the moment and have no idea why.

oh huh what?

CHRIS BROWN IN BIRMINGHAM ON 14TH JANUARY??? Fae scored tickets???

HEEEEEEEEEEEE Thank you to Huda who pointed me in the right direction!!!

So yeah homies. Chris Brown. 14th January 09. and didnt have to pay a FORTUNE to get them either!! Less than 35pounds per ticket yeaaawwww!!

I was gonna buy another ticket and sell it on ebay when the event sells out cause it WILL sell out!! But my moral voice screamed out NO! cause its one thing to have a ticket that u dont need and to sell it on ebay, than to BUY one ticket JUST to resell it on ebay. The latter just takes advantage of desperate people. And thats just not my style. ish.

Hehe. Looking for the tix and buying them was as Huda called it, an 'Intense' experience =p

However, the event will be on 14th January, a WEDNESDAY, and thats when my exam period is!! Hopefully I wont have an exam around that time!! Pray for me people!!!

The thought of seeing Chrissy Wissy Brownie poppin in the same room as me has put a smile on my face. =D

baik jua, cause tadi i was in a bad mood all afternoon cause 'he' emailed me, and gila, padas wah emailnya atu. But lets forget abt that.

CHRIS BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i haven't been sleeping so good lately. I could blame the coffee I've been drinking, or the blocked nose, or the endless to-do list that is constantly swirling around at the back of my mind, but I know I'd be lying to myself. Cause the reason for this uneasiness is you.

You. The one who said 'never-ending friendship'. The one who kept coming over last year. The one who I haven't heard from since August. Nearly three months. Everyone keeps saying, "maybe you just keep missing each other". You've changed your number and I don't know it. Or you never check your facebook. Or just been too busy to reply to me. I don't know what I have done, wether I have hurt you in any way, wasn't there when you needed me, or was generally a crap friend. But at least tell me. Yell at me. Whatever. But don't cut me off. I just miss you ya know.

I've been pretending it doesn't hurt. But it does. It does hurt.

I might be overreacting. God knows I could be PMS-ing.

Okay lets turn the emo off.

Santy is in Cardiff at the moment. Shes squatting on our couch finishing up her dissertation =) It's awesome having her here cause, well, cause she's awesome lol. Umie came down for a few days as well, and the house was a constant uproar. I'm actually suprised the neighbours didnt call thepolice on us, what with the ruckus we were making, general tomfoolery and of course, playing rockband.

Umie couldnt stay all the way to Farid's birthday though, which was a right shame. But her being here sekajap pun, reminded me what such great friends I have. I will have to visit her in newcastle soon, Mesti.

Farid's birthday was a very chilled out affair.. Dinner with the housemates the night before at Pizza Hut, (what else for the pizza-lover =p), and cake suprise and presents at midnight =D He hardly ever asks anything from anyone else, and is always there when we need him, so showering with him with miskin love was fun =D

I love you Mr Grumpy, Happy Birthday xxx

Oh oh, and I wrapped up his present in a HUGE box with sparkly paper and put a bow and the whole works, TWO DAYS before his actual bday, with a post-it that says "NOT TO BE OPENED TILL 12TH NOVEMBER 08" hahaha. It drove him crazy with curiosity =p

But it was worth seeing the smile on his face when he opened up the present and took out his brand new Nokia N81 =D

Pictures up soon as i steal it off Bazilah's camera =p

I've been having a bit of a tummy upset these past few days.. like my tummy has been unsettled, and I sometimes find myself suddenly gagging. the bullimic half of me is rooting for me to puke, while the sane part of me is telling me to keep it down =p

I feel very bloated. And I have a cold. which gives me a headache. And a blocked nose. which needs me to drink tea to unclog. But tea makes me want to do a lot of number twos. Which makes my tummy less upset. And less bloated. So it all works out =)

Sigh. I feel depressed berabis. Palui kali.

If you see him, can you tell him that I love him, i'm sorry, and hello.

Gnyte everyone...

There's so much hype about the U.S Presidential elections these days, especially with it being the last few days before final results comes out.

But then, my friend Ben and I, bored at work on a monday night, were hit by a question. "When EXACTLY does the FINAL RESULT of the U.S Presidential Elections announced?" As in, WHAT TIME?

So we went online and typed in anything we could come up with that might give us the answer to the question that we so desperately needed to solve. (Yes we were THAT bored). And we went through pages among pages of news articles explaining each Obama and McCain's campaigns, recent poll results, and predictions, but virtually NOTHING about the exact time the results will be announced, especially in UK Time.

However!!! I am a Media student and I was actually TAUGHT how to properly do internet searches and we were drilled with the mantra that "Any information can be found on the World Wide Web, provided you have the tools to search for them". Or something of that sort.

So I went on and on, skimming page after page, thanking god and my primary school teachers silently for the gift of speed reading.

And HA HA! Found it! "U.S Presidential Elections Results in UK Time". 5th November, 5am. Boooyaaaa.

The results will be live from 11pm till 5am UK Time, on BBC and CNN, the results for each individual state being announced throughout the night, and apparently Burger King and Subway are giving away free food and having live music and cheerleaders to 'ease the political tension'. Haha.

I might stay up to watch how the elections roll out. God knows what drama the 2000 Presidential Elections between Gore and Bush were! Gore was clearly leading and at the last possible moment, Bush was announced the next US President.

And with all the asssasination attempts on Obama, mana tau ada assasination attempt live on TV?

Breaking off in a tangent from all this political bullcrap, check this video out =p

Bear Grylls fishing Catfish

Its Bear Grylls fishing for a catfish by wiggling his fingers!! He's absolutely awesome and the SIZE of the catfish he caught!! Gila yoooo.

Ah being bored at work.

I decided to be a cat for haloween =p As it would be the simplest thing to dress up as, other than a mummy (too much paper towels) or a ghost ( couldn't find a white sheet).

Farid and I went around town with the Wyverne girls to look for things to finish up each of our costumes, and I found out that a new Haloween store opened up on Queen Street! Goddamn there were loads of choices, complete Pirate costumes and all that, but they were VERY pricey.

Went to the Joke shop instead, and there was a LINE to go into the Joke Shop! There was even a bouncer at the door LOL. It was because teh shop is tiny so having loads of people crammed into it was a fire hazard HAHA. Tapi cali, a bouncer dapan joke shop.

But I bought a cat kit, so it was worth queueing up for. We watched Quantum of Solace, and I won't say much except I didn't see what the fuss was for. And I fell asleep.

That night we a bunch of us stopped by Mel's party to say Happy Birthday and drop off her presents! I bought her a red bathrobe from La Senza, and it is soooooo soft, i was contemplating buying one for myself! Tapi I still have my blue Primark robe and it's just as soft! Reza once borrowed it when he stayed over and promptly fell asleep after his shower cause it was so comfortable =p

After Mel's party, we trooped back to Miskin to watch Congkak on the HDTV. Scary stuff =p

There was netball practise the morning after, and I swear i forgot EVERYTHING I was taught last year. I am actually thinking of quitting cause there are so many better players that I might be bringing the team down. I suck at netball. Berabis.

And rupanya, the fireworks over at Bute Park that are usually on 5th of November happened lastnight!! I wanted to go down to Bute Park with the gang and have a picnic and all that, but panya semalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmm =((((

Farid's birthday is soon. Gotta find a huge box.

Just when I thought the day was going to be just like any other day, Farid hobbled in the house after football training and complained that someone accidentally kicked him in the ankle. As in, the football stud kana his ankle =s

The whole Miskin St gang had to go to Letty Street's open house, so the boys showered and we walked in the rain to Letty Street. Farid continued complaining about his ankle, and Baz did her Occupational Therapy thang and checked out his foot. It was starting to swell, so we put some Heat Rub on his foot. He wanted painkillers, but he had just drank Coke, and we didnt want him fainting on us LOL. In the end we decided to take him to the emergency room.

The pain was increasing, sampai Farid had to be carried by Jem and Amin to the cab! Thanks guys =D Pakai cab dari Letty Street to Heath Hospital's emergency room, Baz and I were nagging to Farid the whole way about playing football in winter. Talk about kicking someone when he's down LOL!

Farid in the waiting room of the Emergency Room

There was this drunk girl who was waiting for her turn, she was probably in for excessive alcohol or something, when suddenly she started yelling obscenities to her two friends who were dengani-ing her. Stupid drunks.

The Nurse checking Farid's footHe's actually laughing in pain LOL

The foot in question =)

The doctor who checked him out said he was a lucky guy having two girls taking care of him =D And fortunately, it wasn't a fracture or anything, but it is a torn ligament. Oddly enough though, the doctor didn't give him any crutches.

Funny part, when the check up was done and he was discharged with a weeks worth of painkillers, I was manning his wheelchair, and I accidentally crash his foot into the door!! EEEEP!!!

When we got home, Farid still couldn't put any pressure on his foot ( Baz and I were on either side of him supporting him the whole time), so Baz and I grabbed another cab to swing by Colum to pinjam Nabil's crutches.

So now Farid is on crutches =p I learnt SO MUCH about the anatomy of the foot that night! And if you are planning to go to the emergency room, an occupational therapist is a great person to be with =P Baz is awesome. Even though she kept nagging to Farid about keeping his foot elevated, put pressure on it, bla bla bla. Hahaha. But she is awesome.

"At least one trip to the emergency room" - One experience of Uni life down =p

So the clocks went back, due to the absurd system of Daylight Savings. It's called daylight SAVINGS, but since everything is now is an hour earlier, sunset will be as early as 4pm. How does this save daylight hours may i ask? Stoopid.

I'm cranky cause I'll see the sun less than I do nowadays. This imaginary problem can easily be rectified if I would wake up earlier, but TCHHHHH who would wanna wake up earlier VOLUNTARILY? LOL

It's getting freakishly cold these days. "It's like the wind is coming from the Arctic" claims my friend Sarah. Banar yo. Yesterday it was even hailing for a short period of time! HAILING! And Lina told me that some of her friends in Birmingham gitau her that it was snowing there. SNOWING! In OCTOBER!

The walk to Talybont for frisbee training was a slow affair as I was bundled up macam mirip orang Alaska. Sweatpants over shorts, a tanktop,a t-shirt, a long-sleeved tshirt AND a hoodie. Scarf, and two pairs of gloves. It took me a full five minutes just to strip down to my shorts and tank to start training. LOL, winter is a chore.

And I can do a side-throw properly now!!! Or as Abang Khai called it, the 'finger-flick'! My hands are all bruised due to being raw from the cold and the rough handling of frisbees. My poor delicate hands =(

I wish I were a polar bear. I'd have amazing white fur and be warm. And adorable.

I have 2.51pounds left in my bank account =p Allowance comes out (hopefully!) Saturday, or it might come out on Monday. And today is Wednesday! Time to break into the piggy bank!

Melina's birthday, and Halloween is on Friday, and I have to buy her a birthday present AND look for a Halloween costume! What should I beeeee~~~

I wanna be Two-Face, not Harvey Dent from the "Dark Knight", but Tommy Lee Jones' character from "Batman Forever".

How hawt would I look =p

a week whizzed by just like that.

and what a week it was.

Most brain cells were focused on the BDSSW "Meriahnya Hari Raya" Celebration that happened Saturday. All the signs pointed to it going to be a disaster.

1. The hall that we usuall use, the Colchester Hall in UWIC, was being used so we had to look for alternative venues, and when we found a suitable one, we had to shell out 50pounds, so thats 50pounds overbudget already.

2. We were having a talenttime sort of competition, with a 50pound cash prize, and only ONE performance was registered the day before the event.

3.Noone wanted to emcee.

4. We couldnt decorate the venue until the day itself. an hour before the event.

In hindsight, on a disaster scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a disaster of a movie called The Happening (oh c'mon guys, plants secreting chemicals to stop overpopulating humans? please.), the event itself was probably a 6 or a 7. Not a 10 like i predicted. but close enough.

Baz stepped up like the heroine that she usually is and became the emcee, with me helping her out, the sound system took ages to set up, and the audience was very uncooperative. But through the whole thing, it sorted itself out, and some people did performances at the last minute.

Miskin Street did a kareoke performance of "Aku dan Kamu" by Flop Poppy, and we werent that bad =p but we dint win the 50pounds haha. Hafiiz won that privilege =D

I can't really blame anyone for the event being better than it was, but at least noone walked out in disgust or demanded their one-pound entrance fee back. Yeah, disaster rating 6 or 7.

And may I rant about something.

Come to our house and please FUCKING RESPECT OUR THINGS. We had guests over after the event and left them to play rock band in Farids room cause I was knocked out on the couch, and the rest of my housemates were downstairs, cause malas kan naik. So after around 4 hours of laying Rock Band, our guests slowly began to go home, some even leaving without saying proper goodbyes i might add.

And what do we find after they all leave? Farid's swivel chair BROKEN, a HUGE RIP on the side of his bed, and the whammy stick of the Rock Band Guitar CROOKED.

Did anyone fess up to any of this? Did anyone say "yo dude, sorry i broke your chair" or "sorry dude, i think i rocked out too hard, the guitars a bit messed up" or "sorry dude, i dunno what happened, the bed just ripped itself"?????????????

FUCK NO. They all just left and did not mention a word.

JESUS manners guys. Didnt your momma teach you any?

Atau telampau feel jadi rockstar, kan trash hotel rooms?
